Two Ways to Pay for Therapy

Use insurance

Use an Accepted Insurance Plan

If I accept your plan and you want to use it, I can bill your insurance. Your cost may include a copay, coinsurance, or deductible based on your benefits.

Pay Out of Pocket (Self-Pay)

Self-pay may fit if you do not have insurance, I do not accept your plan, or you prefer not to use insurance. You pay the session fee directly.

Choosing self-pay

Why some clients choose self-pay.

Self-pay is available if you do not have insurance, your plan is not accepted, or you choose not to use insurance. It is one option, not a recommendation to avoid using insurance.

Flexibility

Some clients choose self-pay when they prefer not to use insurance or when insurance does not apply to their situation.

Privacy

When insurance is not billed, information about the session is not submitted to an insurer for a claim.

Payment planning

The fee is listed in advance so you can plan for the cost. I can confirm payment timing and accepted methods before you begin.

Treatment decisions

Clinical decisions can be discussed directly based on your needs rather than plan-specific coverage requirements.

Good to know

Questions about payment or coverage?

What might I pay when using insurance?

Your plan may require a copay, coinsurance, deductible, or another client responsibility. The amount varies by plan.

What if my plan is not listed?

Email me to ask whether your plan is currently accepted or whether self-pay may be an option.

Can you guarantee coverage?

No. Insurance benefits are determined by your plan. Verification is important, but it is not a guarantee of payment.

Where are sessions offered?

I provide virtual therapy to clients located in Florida at the time of session.

What other details should I confirm?

Please contact me directly for current availability, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, and whether out-of-network documentation is available for your situation.
